Introduction

The Society of Educational Resource Groups (SERG) is a consortium of organizations and agencies which provide school and community educational opportunities, through extension activities and visitations to member sites. SERG's purpose is to promote and enhance, through educational and interpretive programming, an awareness, understanding, appreciation and commitment to our natural and cultural resources.

SERG Members serve southern Alberta and the Calgary region.

The SERG Membership includes highly qualified professionals and organisations implementing programs that represent the full spectrum of the Alberta Curriculum. From the arts to the sciences, and from off campus programming for school groups to in-services for educators, teachers, schools, community and home school groups will find SERG a valuable resource for alternative learning opportunities.

For Educators

As educators, you can view our resource groups and search the programs they each offer to educators. There are programs available for students and teachers, and all programs can be searched by subject area or (grade) level.

For Members

Over 25 members of SERG now benefit from the mutual exchange of information, professional development, and cooperative efforts in program promotion.

Become a member now and post the details of your field trips & presentations for students, and your professional development sessions for teachers. Once you become a SERG member, you can update your profile and program descriptions any time, and take advantage of SERG's professional development seminars.
